Mariam’s pick this week is the 1969 film Double Suicide from director Masahiro Shinoda. It starts of being showing people working on a theatrical production of a classic Bunraku play - and then turns into a quasi-theatrical retelling of the story itself. But what will Ari make of it?
Ari’s pick this week is the undisputed action classic Die Hard, which as Ari pointed out last week, is probably the movie he’s seen the most times. What will Mariam make of it, does it still thrill or has it been diluted by a series of uninspired rehashes?
